Hello and welcome to our corner of the cyber world. We are Cyllec, based in the beautiful city of Perth, Western Australia. From a young age, our founder Jonathan Holmes had a deep fascination with the intricacies of the digital landscape, a passion that fuelled his journey to becoming a proficient computer engineer and ultimately, leading our highly regarded team in the cybersecurity domain.

We initiated this blog as a beacon of knowledge and a safe harbour for both budding and seasoned professionals in the field, as well as enthusiasts and business stakeholders who are keen to deepen their understanding of the complexities surrounding cybersecurity. In an era where digital threats are becoming increasingly sophisticated, we firmly believe that disseminating vital knowledge about safeguarding one’s digital assets is not just a necessity but a responsibility.

Our professional odyssey has seen us donning many hats - from being adept Security Operations Center (SOC) Analysts to proactive advocates for implementing comprehensive, state-of-the-art security measures designed to withstand a broad spectrum of cyber-attacks. Over the years, we have cultivated a knack for identifying security gaps and devising actionable solutions that not only address immediate concerns but also proactively mitigate future potential threats.

We have led and contributed to numerous initiatives aimed at bolstering the security infrastructure, ensuring the seamless integration of cutting-edge technologies and platforms that effectively monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents.
